We will be deploying GovCMS D8 1.0 to all GovCMS D8 SaaS sites on Wednesday 29 January, 2020 starting at 1900 AEDT and running through to 0800 the following morning. The GovCMS team has completed testing on this release.
This release updates the version of Drupal core to 8.8.1 (from 8.7.9), the Pathauto module to 8.x-1.6 (from 8.x-1.3), and resolves a number of outstanding issues.
*Developer notes:*
A direct commit will be made to each branch that has an active environment in the GovCMS hosting environment. This commit will be a single, one-line change to enable a required module in core.extension.yml and will only impact customers actively using configuration management. No action is required on your part.
PaaS customers please note that if you are using configuration management you *must* ensure you build locally first and export the latest configuration. Steps on completing this are described in the GitHub release notes: https://github.com/govCMS/govcms8lagoon/releases/tag/7.9.1
No outages are expected to sites during this process.
